The Details

Our private homeowner client had a large rear garden unused, just a few fruit trees. Lafford James identified the development potential. We worked with our client to achieve an outline planning permission with a new vehicular access.

We used our extensive contacts to offer the site to a shortlist of housebuilders.

As a result we negotiated a “subject to detailed planning” sale which was successful. Consequently five detached properties were built and an additional double garage was built for the landowner.

Over the course of the instruction we provided consultancy advice in respect of sales revenues, housing mix and planning. Additionally we negotiated with Milton Keynes Council to release a covenant that had influence over the land.
